Aswani shines at Al Nasr

Former Thika United striker Kepha Aswani has made an immediate impact at Al Nasr in Oman scoring three goals since he joined the side three weeks ago.

Despite reports that Aswani joined Salalah, he actually signed a one year deal at Al Nasr in a deal engineered by another Kenyan Jamal Mohammed.

Aswani has scored in all the three matches for Al Nasr since signing and his goal scoring prowess was immediately visible when scoring the only goal when Al Nasr drew 1-1 with Doffar and on Wednesday he scored a brace as Al Nasr beat Antipelia 2-1.

An excited Aswani told supersport.com that he was happy to be at his new club especially playing alongside Jamal who helped him secure the deal.

"I am very excited after my move to Al Nasr where I have so far scored three goals. This is a very ambitious club and I feel happy Jamal has been helping me to settle down well. I always believe that nothing is impossible and my mission is to score as many goals as possible since am in fine form,” Aswani told supersport.com.
