Stars register full house in Libya

Harambee Stars’ camp in Tunisia was a full house on Tuesday after the arrival of Victor Wanyama who was the last player to arrive in camp.

Captain Dennis Oliech, Arnold Origi and David Gateri were also in camp but Ayub Timbe who was expected to arrive from Belgium failed to do so after reports reaching supersport.com suggested that he has snubbed the call up after the federation failed to reimburse his air ticket when Kenya played Tanzania in an International friendly last year.

The team was in high spirits ahead of the Libya friendly as they relaxed at the El Mauradi hotel which is 25 km from the city of Tunis.

Stars coach James Nandwa said he was impressed with the turnout and hopes that his lads would emerge victorious when they clash with Libya on Wednesday evening.

"I am very happy all the players have arrived in camp with the exception of Timbe and the mood is upbeat as we wait to face Libya. I have urged the players to give 100 percent in the game as it will be an important game to gauge the team ahead of the World cup qualifier against Nigeria next month," coach Nandwa told supersport.com.

Probable squad:

1.Arnold Otieno Origi 2. Joakins Atudo 3. Juma Abulla 4. David Ochieng 5. David Owino 6. Victor Mugubi 7.Kevin Omondi 8.PeterOpiyo 9.Denis Oliech 10. Humprey Ochieng Miano 11.Francis Kahata.
