City Stars announce 2013 roster



Nairobi City Stars have released their 30-man squad list for the upcoming 2013 Kenyan Premier League [KPL] season.

The Kawangware based outfit has been busy in the transfer window bringing in a total of 10 players.

They include Jimmy Bagaye, Simon Lusaka [both AFC Leopards], Oscar Mbugua [Gor Mahia], George Blackberry Odhiambo [Azam], Dennis Wise Okoth [SoNy Sugar], Vincent Okoth [Ligi Ndogo] and Eric Muranda [Posta Rangers].

Others are Dennis Pajoe, Herbert Kunga and Kevin Masawa. According to coach Bye Wadda, all of the new acquisitions have been included in the squad.

“This is a formidable squad. We have decided to give our new signings a chance and I am confident they will make us proud,” he said.

Last year, City Stars finished 14th with 29 points, four places above the relegation zone, but with the arrival of the new players, they are hoping to perform better.
