Thika United striker goes AWOL

Thika United's prolific scorer Kepha Aswani is yet to appear for pre-season training with his club barely days to the commencement of the 2013 season.
Thika coach John Kamau confirmed the absence of the player who last year also went missing during the mid season break prompting the club to fine him.
"I have not seen Kepha Aswani since last year and am only waiting to see him then I can talk about him. He has not made any phone calls but we have been continuing with our pre-season training as usual hoping he will come and explain his absence which is now worrying," coach John Kamau told supersport.com.
A spot check by supersport.com revealed that Aswani has been training at the Jericho grounds however he was non committal over his future with the player saying he was training preparing for the new season.
Aswani scored ten goals in the 2012 season and had been touted with a move to Al Nasr for a professional stint.
