Oliech completes Ajaccio move

Harambee Stars skipper Dennis Oliech was on Tuesday officially unveiled as an AC Ajaccio player.

The Former Auxerre hitman was excited by his new move terming it a new year present that he was willing to utilise to the fullest.

Oliech penned a two and half year deal that will see him play a vital cog in the Ajaccio team where he is expected to spearhead the attack.

"I want to thank my former teammates and coach at Auxerre for the time I was there and I feel happy for this new challenge at Ajaccio as I help them in the league," Oliech told supersport.com.

"I am glad to be back to Ligue 1 and I know I will work hard to inspire my team to greater heights," he added.

Oliech was the top marksman at Auxerre who were relegated last season playing for them for six season and joining Ajaccio who are 16th in the 20 team league.

The star striker begun his career in Kenya where he played for Mathare United before moving to the middle East where he joined Al-Arabi in Qatar.

The move to Qatar created Hullabaloo with the Qatari federation offering the star striker a staggering Kshs200 million to change his citizenship but he stuck his guns and remained with Kenya despite the lure of the big money.

Oliech later moved to French Ligue one side Nantes who were again relegated before moving on to Auxerre.
