European clubs target Sserunkuma

Reigning Kenyan Premier League Player of The Year Dan Serunkuma has become a target of European football clubs according to his agent Ken Joseph.

The Gor Mahia talisman, whose instruments of magic handed him an amazing 17 goals last season has received lots on interests in the winter transfer window, but his agent has admitted that the player's departure could leave his club in vulnerable position.

" I have been contacted by a few clubs in Europe, who want Dan to join them for the January pre-seasons. Dan is excited about the opportunity presented to him to head to Europe. However, when I contacted the Gor Mahia management team, they explained to me that although they were happy with such an opportunity given to their player, they felt that the situation could leave them with an impotent strike force for the Caf competition."

"We have all agreed that the summer period (May - July) would be the perfect time to take Dan to Europe. Dan is a true professional and understands that he has a vital role to play in Gor Mahia," Joseph told supersport.com.

"Hopefully he can score many goals for them, fight his way into the Ugandan senior team, then head to Europe - it could be a blessing in disguise for the young Player,” added the British born Fifa agent.
