Misse considers club offers
Former AFC Leopards forward Samuel ‘Misse’ Mwangi is being courted by several Tusker Premier League clubs but is weighing up his options before making a decision.
Confirming the news, Misse also revealed that KCB and recently promoted side Kakamega Homeboyz are amongst the interested suitors.
“KCB and Homeboys contacted me sometime back and also recently some clubs have called me,” Misse said. “I’m aware the league is about to start and I will therefore make my move early enough so that I can prepare with the rest of the team that I will join.”
“My only wish is to join a team that I will be guaranteed of playing time. I had a rather bad season and I just want to enjoy my football in the upcoming season and regain my form,” Misse added.
Misse was dropped by AFC Leopards in late November alongside Emmanuel Tostao (who is rumoured to have joined Mathare United), Jimmy Bageya, Mohammed Fwaya, Shaban Abdul, Robert Syongo, Simon Lusaka, Laurent Tumba, Brian Masiolo, Laurent Tumba and Amon Muchiri, who has since joined SoNy Sugar FC.
Misse, an ex-JMJ Academy player, was once touted to become one of the best midfielders in the country and attended a six-month trial at Belgian top-tier side Zulte-Waragem.
