Arita delighted with Tusker move
After impressing with Kenyan Premier League side Thika United towards the end of the season, forward Moses Arita earned a switch to champions Tusker FC.
Besides the high-profile move, the player also earned a call-up to the national side for their African Nations Championship qualifying campaign.
Arita is encouraged by his progress to date, and is confident he will continue to further his career in the new year.
“As a football player, I know I am heading somewhere when I see my career moving,” said Arita.
“I am happy to have found a place in Tusker and I feel blessed that the national team head coach continues to give me a chance to serve my country. I am sure that the upcoming year will come with more blessings; blessings that will help me go places in my career and also help my team and country flourish in the sport,” he concluded.
Arita, born and bred in the impoverished Kaptembwo area of Nakuru, has attributed his growing success to his respective support structures, which includes his faith.
“It has not been a solo effort because it took the support of people like my former head coach (John Kamau), teammates, family and most importantly God,” he said.
