Coach Ali in recruitment drive

Newly appointed Ulinzi Stars coach Salim Ali is at the military Recruitment Training Centre in Eldoret to try and identify talent.

Ali immediately took to work upon his appointment on Christmas day going to the annual tournament to try and beef up his squad ahead of 2013 season.

"I want to try and get some midfielders and defenders in readiness for the new season and I believe the annual military football tournament is the place I can get good players."

"I don't really intend to sign players from outside the military since they have plenty of talented players in different departments so I feel I will stick to the players who are in the military training," Salim Ali told supersport.com.

Ali was also full of praise for the structures put in place by the military side saying it was one of the best for any coach who has a focus to excel.

Salim is one of the top qualified coaches in the country with a Uefa B licence from the prestigious Dutch federation KNVB and is also a qualified instructor.
