Coach Omollo in demand

Several top-tier clubs are courting Oserian FC head coach Sammy Omollo for his services as his contract with the club is set to expire at the end of November 2012.

Omollo, who was appointed by Oserian in July after being dismissed by reigning champions Tusker , confirmed the news but said he would consider the offers after their last match.

“I had a three-month contract with Oserian that comes to an end this November. I already have several clubs in the top-tier who are interested in my services but I will consider the offers after the last game,” Omollo said.

Oserian is at the bottom of the 16-team Tusker Premier League table with 21 points, having played 29 matches, and will host second-from-bottom Rangers at the Oserian Stadium on 10 October. Both teams have already been relegated from the top-tier.

“I have seen great improvement in the team since I took charge and it is very unfortunate that we have been relegated,” he continued.

“We want to finish off in style by beating Rangers on Saturday. Our preparations are going on well and I’m optimistic we will have a good result,” he added.

The match will kick off at 1500H.
