Hall warns non-performers
Sofapaka FC head coach Stewart Hall has revealed he will continue reshaping his squad in preparation for next Tusker Premier League season.
Speaking after the team managed a 2-0 win over Rangers FC at the City Stadium on Sunday, Hall said he expects better finishing from his unit while he warned his players he will not accept anyone not pulling their weight.
“We had a lot of chances in the match but our finishing was very poor so that is something that we have to work on seriously,” he said.
“I will continue with the restructuring process after the end of the season since we cannot have players in the team who are non-performers.”
Sofapaka, who are out of title contention, have already started a restructuring process, which has seen some players released over the past month.
The 2009 champions, affectionately known as Batoto Ba Mungu, are fourth in the standings with 44 points – 10 behind leaders Tusker FC with three match left in the campaign. Sofapaka next face SoNy Sugar in Nairobi on Saturday.
