AFC Leopards striker Allan Wanga has denied reports that he signed a long term three year deal to extend his contract at the Den.
Wanga wondered how anyone could allude to the fact that he had signed another deal extension and yet the league was still going on as he rubbished the claims as false and intended to jeopardise his move to other big teams.
South African giants Kaizer's Chiefs have been following up on the striker with an intention of bringing him onboard.
"I was utterly shocked to read from a section of the press that I had signed a long term deal at AFC Leopards and yet I don’t know about such details."
"How can I sign in the middle of the season? Wanga posed the question "In fact this news is not positive since Kaizer Chiefs were following up on me and when they read the information they called me to inquire if indeed it was true," Wanga told supersport.com.
"I am disappointed and I think the scribes should practise responsible journalism by atleast finding out the truth from me," he added.
Wanga's who is on loan from Vietnamese side HAGL should see his short contract expire at the end of this month.
