Tusker rally to beat Thika

Champions Tusker consolidated their lead at the top of the log with an impressive comeback that saw them beat Thika United 2-1 at Nyayo Stadium.
The results means that Tusker open a five point gap at the helm while Thika United remain fifth on the standings with 42.
Goals from Patrick Kagogo and Kenneth Wendo were enough to cancel an early opener from Clifford Miheso.
The Thika left back marked his comeback from injury in style with a 16th minute freekick though his comeback which lasted half an hour before he was replaced by David Bogere.
With Robert Matano introducing Joseph Emeka and playmaker Joseph Mbugi at the interval the hosts looked sharp as they sought an equalizer.
Kagogo revived his team's hopes in the 53 minute as he levelled the scores before former Thika player Wendo netted the winner nine minutes later as he rose highest to punish the visitors.
Thika were dealt another blow after substitute Bogere was shown red for a second bookable offence.
