Gor coach praises supporters
Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic has dedicated Saturday’s 2-1 Tusker Premier League derby win over AFC Leopards to his club’s fans.
Gor prevailed through Ugandan import Dan Sserenkuma’s brace with Mike Barasa reducing the deficit after the break for Ingwe Logarusic, who has led K’Ogalo to a 14-game unbeaten run since his arrival in March, thanked supporters via social media networking site Facebook.
“Thanks everyone; especially the fans for giving the team such an overwhelming support,” he wrote in a post.
“The derby win will forever be dedicated to my passionate fans. You deserved the win and through your support, we delivered this sweet victory. The journey has just started, and this is the time we need you more than ever.”
“Pray for us and keep on with your unwavering support, and we shall be sure of reaching our goal. “We came from far; this is not the time to slumber. Just a little bit of dedication and support, and we shall be singing our way to glory,” concluded the post.
Second-placed Gor next face relegation-threatened Rangers at Nyayo National Stadium.
