Koops reacts to suspension

AFC Leopards coach Jan Koops has reacted with shock at the news of his suspension terming it cowardly.
The embattled Dutchman has had a rough two weeks with news of infighting and sabotage of by other technical bench members filtered to the public that forced the club's top officials to summon the officials to Nairobi for grilling.
Poor results on the pitch; Leopards have lost three of their last four matches, further added to the speculation.
Koops has however reiterated that he was okay with any decision made but wondered why the same was not relayed to him officially.
"I suspected something was wrong this morning when I got an urgent message not to train the team and the players dispersed. I think this is a cowardly move and the right thing was for them to inform me directly. Last week when I was in a meeting with the chairman he described me as the best coach so I don’t understand anymore."
"I can tell you that there are so many issues at Leopards and this is the reason they will never be champions because of the way things are done unprofessionally," a dejected Koops told supersport.com.
