Mixed results for Kenyans abroad

Supersport.com takes a look at Kenyans abroad and how their teams fared in their respective leagues.
France
Dennis Oliech has adjusted to French Ligue 2 after offers from top flight clubs never came his way. But this weekend, his team could only manage a 0-0 draw at Abbe Deschamps Stadium.
Kenya all-time top scorer featured for 75 minutes but his appearance wasn’t enough to secure maximum points as they are placed ninth on the log with 10 points.
Tanzania
Jerry Santo crowned his debut with a goal for Coastal Union as his solitary goal gave his side a win. The other Kenyan in the Tanzanian league; Pascal Ochieng did not feature as his Simba side won their opening fixture of the season.
England
Taiwo Atieno is still searching for a club. Since his release from Torquay United and trials at Southend, nothing concrete has come up.
Scotland
Victor Wanyama made his return for Celtic FC on Saturday following an injury lay off. However, they lost 2-1 to St. Johnstone ahead of their champions League match against Benfica.
Belgium
Seven minutes Ayub Timbe’s playing time for RC Genk against Waasland-Beveren. He came on the 83rd minute, as they settled for a barren draw.
Johanna Omollo who is currently on loan at Lommel United from Germinal Beerschot picked maximum points from KVC Wasterlo.
Slovakia
Patrick Oboya is still injured and is set to be loaned out by MFK Ruzomberok as soon as he recovers.
Italy
McDonald Mariga is close to making a comeback for Inter Milan. He is expected to return in two weeks as he is back in full training.
USA
Lawrence Olum watched from the bench as his team, Sporting Kansas City picked a point from their one-all draw against Houston Dynamo.
Despite that they top the log with 51 points ahead of fancied New York RedBulls.
Norway
Kenya’s number one shot stopper Arnold Origi was on the losing end as Ullensaker Kisa lost 1-0 to Kongsvinger with him spending 90 minutes between the posts.
