The axe has fallen on yet another Kenyan Premier League (KPL) coach after Sofapaka coach Salim Ali was shown the door.
Club president Elly Kalekwa told SuperSport.com that the decision to sack the coach was reached after a spate of poor results which saw them fall behind in the title race.
"We have decided to sack Salim Ali because the performance has not been good and i am not happy at all. The team is bigger than anybody and we will not continue to see things deteriorating and that is why he had to step aside.”
"David Ouma will take over the team as we look to make further changes," Kalekwa told SuperSport.com.
Ali took over from his predecessor Francis Kimanzi at the start of this season after Kimanzi was appointed as Harambee Stars head coach.
After a solid start to the season, things went downhill midway through the season as the 2009 champions have won one, two draws and two losses in their last five matches.
