Muhoroni host Oserian

Just like the unpredictable battle for Kenyan Premier League title, the battle for survival is also gaining momentum.

On Sunday, the focus turns on 14th-placed Muhoroni Youth who will be playing host to bottom club Oserian FC.

Both teams were promoted last season, and they will be meeting in a clash that will see the winners increase their survival chances.

Muhoroni coach Alfred Imonje is seeking to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Thika United FC while the Peter Ogutu-trained side will be hoping to continue with their three-game unbeaten run.

Muhoroni started the league well only to fade at the end of the first leg and since then they have been struggling.

On the other hand, the change of guard in the Flower Men’s technical bench, that saw Ogutu taking over from Samuel Otinga, rekindled their survival hopes.
