Ulinzi march past Stima

Ulinzi Stars edged out Western Stima 1-0 in a league match played at Afraha Stadium on Saturday.
Evans Amwoka scored the solitary goal that ensured the KPL 2010champions collected maximum points for the fifth consecutive match.
The result means Sammy Simiyu’s club move to third place with33 points while Henry Omino side remain eighth with 23.
Amwoka scored in the second minute as they made their intentions clear early in the match.
With Stephen Waruru making darting runs on the flanks, his crosses caused Stima all sorts of problems for Stima.
Fredrick Nyarombo was booked in the 37th minute after a foul on Amon Mwamburi as both sides battled to stamp their authority in the match.
Omar Balala was stretchered off in the 59th minute and replaced by Alloyce Mangi and they continued with their search for the equalizer.
George Otieno almost doubled the lead in the 68th minute only to waste the golden chance.
In the 86th minute Francis Chinjili went closest after he set up Ali Bai but failed to convert as they scoreline remain unchanged.
