Leopards seek to bounce back
After losing their unbeaten record last weekend, league leaders AFC Leopards will be looking to bounce back in Naivasha while Sofapaka also need a win to stop a run of two successive defeats.
Week 11 contains intriguing battles both at the top and the bottom of the table with a double header has been lined up live on SS9 East on Sunday.

Saturday 28th April:
Gor Mahia v City Stars (City Stadium)
Gor Mahia are facing tough times this season with their problems piling up with yet another loss against Ulinzi last weekend over the weekend as they dropped to 12th on the log with ten points.
On the other hand City Stars are back at the bottom of the table with eight points giving coach Gideon Ochieng sleepless nights.
The question on Saturday will be who between Gor Mahia coach Zdravko Logarusic and City’s Ochieng will have the winning strategy?
Thika United v Muhoroni Youth (Thika Stadium)
Thika United have been in superb away from home getting another deserved win against Sofapaka as they jumped to fifth on the log with 17 points under coach John Kamau.
For Muhoroni Youth it will be interesting to see how they perform now that the man at the helm Alfred Imonje has quit amid a row with management over finances.
Players to watch for Thika will be Moses Arita and Kepha Aswani while Muhoroni will call upon Geoffrey Simiyu to lead the tea.
Ulinzi Stars v Sony Sugar (Afraha, Nakuru)
Ulinzi Stars win against Gor Mahia inspired the team to ninth on the log with 15 points and announced the comeback of their striker Stephen Waruru.
They however faced a stern test against Sony Sugar who are back to winning ways after their sublime performance over the weekend that pushed them to 11th place on the log.
Sunday 29th April
Karuturi v AFC Leopards(Karuturi)
Karuturi are enjoying a good run of form having won their game last weekend that pushed them up to sixth on the log with 16 points.
They face a wounded AFC Leopards who lost their unbeaten record last weekend. Ingwe are still on top of the league with 26 points and will stay top if they win in Naivasha.
Jacob Omondi and Allan Otindo will be the players to watch for Karuturi while Leopards have a wide range of players to choose from with Jimmy Bageya, Victor Ochieng, Allan Wanga and Mike Baraza all in contention.
KCB v Oserian(Live on SS9East Nyayo Stadium)
KCB have seen their form deteriorate and coach James Otieno must be scratching his head as they have now won a match in seven ties.
They welcome an Oserian side who have found the going tough on their comeback to the top flight as they remain rooted in 14th place on the log with only nine points.
KCB’s hit men Jacob Keli and Clifford Alwanga will be expected to rise up to the occasion while John Keo is the man to watch for Oserian.
Chemelil v Western Stima(Chemelil Complex)
This will be a definitely exciting match with impressive Chemelil who are now third on the log with 21 points hoping to continue with their resurgence under coach Edward Manoah.
Western Stima on the other hand have sorted out their internal problems with coach Henry Omino getting the vote of confidence to lead his charges who are seventh on the log with 15 points.
Mathare United v Rangers (Live on SS9East Nyayo Stadium)
Mathare United have undergone a complete metamorphosis and they look impressive despite being 13th on the log with ten points and it will be exciting to see how they fair against a Rangers side that is 15th on the log with nine points.
Rangers though will be buoyed by the return of captain Pascal Ochieng after a month out due to unpaid salaries.
Monday 30th April:
STAR MATCH: Tusker v Sofapaka (Live on SS9East Nyayo Stadium)
Defending champions Tusker are on cloud nine after their 2-0 deserved win against run away league leaders AFC Leopards.
The win pushed them to second on the log with 22 points only four points shy of the leaders and they will look to keep the momentum.
On the other hand, Sofapaka’s morale has been deflated by losing two games in a row that has pushed them down to fourth on the log with 20 points.
The brewers will call on Kenneth Wendo, Joseph Shikokoti and the likes of Paul Were and Brian Mandela work hard to continue with their impressive recent form.
Coach Salim Ali will be looking to correct the mistakes that have seen them concede but fail to score in the same measure despite having top players like Humphrey Mieno, John Baraza and Heritier Luvualu to give him the much needed spark.
A win will take them back to second.
