Kimanzi names squad to take on Togo



Harambee Stars coach Francis Kimanzi has named a provisional squad of 30 players to start preparations for African cup of Nations 2013 preliminary round two against Togo on February 29th.

Suprise inclusions include keeper Arnold Origi who retired from the national team a fortnight ago.Also in the list is Sony Sugar youngster Enock Agwanda as Allan Wanga,Taiwo Atieno make a comeback to the National team.

Genk's striker Ayub Timbe Masika's prayers were answered as Kimanzi included his name in the provincial list together with Christian Bwamy.

The locally based player will assemble from Monday 13th whereas they will be joined by the foreign based counterparts after the February 25th matches this is according to coach Francis Kimanzi.

"The squad I have named will go to camp from Monday where I expect to work with the locally based players as the foreign based players will join the team later in the month"

"I have faith in the players i have called up and i am very optimistic they will deliver as required"Kimanzi told SuperSport.com after naming the team.
