Kenyan Premeir league defending champions Tusker have fired a warning to their Congolese striker Itubu Imbem who was reported to have joined Yemen side Al Tilal.
Itubu Imbem left the country for trials but was reportedly said to have signed without the express permission of Tusker who remain in the dark concerning the players move .
What is not clear is how the player was signed without an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) issued by Tusker and a TMS which are mandatory for any deal to go through.
"We have already reported the matter to Fifa and they have asked us to wait and see if indeed the will play for the reported club"
"We are not against players moving to greener pastures but we want the correct mechanisms to be followed in releasing the player"Tusker director Charles Obiny told SuperSport.com
Itubu Imbem who was said to have signed a two and half year deal with Yemen is likely to face sanctions together with his new club for breaching Fifa rules of engagements.
