Kenya U17s knocked out

Kenya U17 ladies team were knocked out by their Nigerian counterparts when they fell 3-0 away in Nigeria.

The loss meant Kenya bowed out after losing on a 5-0 aggregate after being beaten 2-0 a fortnight ago in Nairobi.

Nigeria's goals were scored by Biahwolessy Kesiana,Adeboyejo Oluwatosin and Ayide Ibrahim to deny Kenya, who were playing under protest for a spot in the next stage of the competition.

Kenya had written to Caf and the NFF complaining that Nigeria had fielded over age players.

The team coached by Fred Serenge is expected back home on Monday.
