Tusker coach bullish ahead of Cup



Tusker's coach Sammy "Pamzo"Omollo is bullish ahead of their SuperSport/DStv super cup clash against Gor Mahia.

Omollo who played for Gor Mahia in the 90's has described the clash as the best moment to start the season by getting their trophy cabinet filled up.

Tusker will be seeking to maintain their solid perfomance that led them to the KPL title in 2011.

"I am happy we are playing the SuperCup against a formidable side like Gor Mahia and i belive the match will be a battle of the titans as both team have very talented players"

"We are ready to face Kogalo as my players are geared up towards the weekend clash.I will be using the opportunity not to only test my new players but to also ensure we get our first silverware of the season by beating Gor Mahia"a confident Omollo told SuperSport.com

"The SuperSport/Dstv cup comes at the right time as we have a very busy month where we will be playing both the league and the Caf champions league matches"he added.

The SuperSport/Dstv cup will be played on Sunday at the Nyayo stadium from 3pm and will be broadcast live on SuperSport 9.
