KPL releases SuperSport DStv Cup details



The Kenya Premier League Limited (KPL) has released ticketing information for the eagerly awaited second edition of the SuperSport Dstv Cup pitting Tusker Fc and Gor Mahia set for Sunday February 5th.

The match will be staged at the Nyayo National Stadium from 3pm (Kenyan Time).The match will also be shown live on your favourite television sports channel Supersport 9.

Tusker are the defending KPL Champions while Gor Mahia are the Football Kenya Limited(KFL) kings .Tusker will feature in the Africa Champions League while Gor will plunge in the coveted CAF Confederation Cup tournament.

Tickets will be on sale from Friday January 3rd January starting from 9am at various selling booths. Tickets will be purchased from the Nyayo National Stadium ticketing booth, 20th century cinema, Nairobi city stadium, Mumbai Plaza Gikomba, and Fine Breeze Bar in Dagoretti.

KPL has set up two price categories where the main stand popularly referred as VIP will cost at Kshs.400 while those wishing to watch the proceedings at the terraces will part with shs.100. There will be no sale of tickets at the day of the match to avoid duplication of tickets.

KPL has assured motorists that strict security will be deployed .Both teams will use the match to shape up ahead of their continental assignments and the grueling KPL new season that kicks off from February 11th.

Tusker will take on APR of Rwanda while Gor will face off with Ferroviaro of Mozambique in the first leg clash slated for Februarys 18 away in Maputo.
