FKF appoints referees committee

Retired Fifa referee Maxim Itur is among five people appointed by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to be in charge of appointing the Kenya Premier League referees.
Other members include Evans Mwachia, Daniel GIthaka, Margret Odour and Pamela Achieng.
Consequently, FKF has also appointed another team of six serve in the federation’s referees committee. They include Evans Mwachia, Paul Kaunda, Itur, George Nyamwanda, Margret Odour and Alphonce Amugune respectively.
FKF has appealed to clubs to give the members maximum support as they continue to streamline football activities in the country adding that they arrived at the appointees after perusing the applications submitted and also due to their experience in officiating football in the highest level both local and internationally.
