Sofapaka thrashed in Tunis



A Khaled Melliti brace inspired Tunisian side Club Africain to a 3-0 win over Kenyan representatives in the Caf Confederation Cup Sofapaka on Sunday.

Melliti gave the hosts the lead in the fifth minute from a curling freekick that beat Sofapaka's keeper Zachary Onyango. He completed his brace on 55th minute to make the scores 2-0 in the match played in an empty stadium.

Hamza Messadi put matters beyond Sofapaka in the 79th minute slotting in a penalty after Thomas Wanyama had handled inside the box.

The return leg will be played in Nairobi in two weeks time.
