Udinese hammer Inter Milan
Udinese beat visiting 10-man Inter Milan 3-0 on Sunday with a brace from Antonio Di Natale and a Luis Muriel effort as the Italian Serie A resumed after a winter break of two weeks.
Di Natale on 63 minutes controlled a deep feed from Andrea Lazzari and fired past his former teammate Samir Handanovic, who was saved by the bar on a free-kick the veteran curled in the first half.
Inter had missed two good chances after the break with Jonathan and Rodrigo Palacio, and had Juan Jesus sent off with a second booking two minutes after falling behind.
Colombian Muriel on 75 minutes scored off a Dusan Basta feed and Di Natale netted his 12th goal on 84 to seal a win that pushed Udinese to eighth position with 27 points.
Inter are fourth on 35 points and lost ground on Lazio, who are second on 39 as they rallied Saturday to win 2-1 against nine-man guests Cagliari.
