Prolific Dwarfs continue consistent run

Dwarfs have scored more goals than any of the fifteen other teams in the Glo Premier League, except Hearts of Oak.

This was supposed to be how last season went for Dwarfs, whose win against King Faisal continues their consistency this season. The 3-1 win on Wednesday took the Cape Coast side to fourth.

Bright Lukman is having a decent season, and two goals on the day was testament to his good form. Francis Atuquaye got the other while Faisal scored penalty later.

Dwarfs' next two games feature ties with two equally aggressive sides - away to Edubiase in Bekwai and Tema Youth in Cape Coast - that see them cement the top four place they have wanted from last season.

Now on 41 points, they are just two points off Medeama in third and five off Chelsea atop, with five games to finish the season.

In the 2011/2012 season, it was only "an act of stupidity by our fans", as coach Professor Mintah put in that stopped the Ebusua club from doing well.

The club was given a lengthy home ban that affected attendances because Obuasi became their new home. how they played games.
