Nania FC are on the march to win the FA Cup two years after last winning it after beating Bofoakwa 4-0. In the dugout was Abedi Ayew Pele coaching the team.
The MTN FA Cup is in the Round of 64 stage and Nania, having won the trophy in 2011, seek a grand entrance into the business end.
Nania were given a rude shock last season when they were bundled out of the competition, at home in Legon, by Great Olympics.
Financial problems dogged the club to an extent that even after beating Kotoko in an upset in the final two years ago, the club could not represent Ghana in the 2012 Caf Confederation Cup, which led to a fine.
Edubiase, who won last year's instalment, are currently representing the country in this year's continental sojourn.
Games postponed
Elsewhere, new dates will be fixed for three Round of 64 matches after the fixtures were called off. The FA Cup Committee has called off the Mepe Utd/Woe FC v Dawhenya FC match that was expected to have been played on Wednesday.
Also off the fixture list is Asante Kotoko's match against either Japekrom or Nkyenkyenkye and the game between champions, New Edubiase and Starke FC.
