Ayew in Stars camp on Monday

Andre Ayew will be in the Black Stars camp on Monday, despite his injury. The Ghana FA released a statement explaining that they had communicated with Marseille to allow the player to be in Abu Dhabi.

"French club, Olympique Marseille have written to the Ghana Football Association that they have released injured midfielder Andre Ayew to join the Black Stars camp in Abu Dhabi," the statement began.

"The GFA has been in constant touch with Ayew over his arrival in the Black Stars camp considering that he is undergoing treatment in France," it continued.

"The GFA has assured Ayew and his doctors that the midfielder will get excellent medical attention here in Abu Dhabi," the statement ended.

This means that the 23 year old player has been given a two-day extension.
