Ghana FA Cup returns



The 2012/2013 MTN FA Cup season is on from Friday, with Division Two sides beginning the charge. The games will go on throughout the weekend.

The 24 clubs to progress from the first stage will be joined by 48 Division One clubs in the Round of 64, while Premier League clubs take their turn at the Round of 32 stage. The RedBull Academy Park in Sogakope will be where Mepe United play Woe United. At the Fire Service Training School Park, Newton Youth will face FC Maamobi.

Agbozome Weavers play 3rd World and Westland FC will be at home against and Holy Stars.

Amasaman based Kuntunse FC play Wisbrim FC at the Bright Future Park in Amasaman while the Ghanaman Soccer Academy in Prampram will be the venue in Dawuenya FC's game with Cheetah FC on Saturday.

Also on Saturday Berekum Adwinpa will play host to Kintampo Top Talent at the Berekum Golden City Park on Saturday. The Sunyani Coronation Park will be the venue for the match between Sunyani Suncity FC and Dynamo FC while Segomens FC take on Yeji Lacio FC at the Wesley College in Kumasi.

In Tamale, Japekrom Mpuasuaman host Dormaa Nkyenkyenkye at the Japekrom Town Park and at the Nandom Ko SHS Park, Krystal Palace will be guests of Nandom Black Bull while the Bolga Stadium will be the venue as Scientific Soccer Revolutionaries FC host Pwalugu United FC.

Wa FC will engage Manchester City FC at the Wa Stadium with the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast playing host to a thrilling encounter between UCC Youngsters and Swedru All Blacks to end Saturday’s encounters.

Sunday's fixtures will see Dynamo FC hosting Vision FC at the Ho Sports Stadium, Finik FC clash with Dumas at the Tarkwa TNA Park and Vimabe FC also welcome Oakzel FC at the Bibiani Dance Park.

The rest are Westlanders trekking to Bosomtwe Stars at the Abrankese Stadium in a cagey encounter while Samartex FC battle Kaase FC at home at the Samreboi Park. Ato Plans FC will travel to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to face-off with Kumawuman FC.
