Julio Tavares and Adilson Cabral (Basileia of Switzerland) are the new faces that were called-up by the Cape Verdean National team’s Head Coach Lúcio Antunes for the international friendly with Ghana.
The game would act as a preparation for the 2013 African Cup and Wednesday's match will take place in at the Estádio Universitário, in Lisbon, Portugal. Tavares plays for Dijon in France and Adilson Cabral is Swiss-based with Basileia.
The return of the defender Josimar Lima of Dordrecht (Holland) and the absence of Ryan Mendes, Stopira and Odair Fortes will also see the Sharks experimenting with their team. Mendes, Stopira and Odair Fortes are all currently out due to injury.
