Satellites decimated by departures

Ghana's Black Satellites will be hit with departures to key layers in the coming days as they hope to assemble a crack side against Uganda. Joseph Baffour-Gyewu and Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi will miss the return leg of the African Youth qualifier.

Baffour-Gyewu plays in Latvia and has been summoned for preseason, as has Sarfo Gyamfi, who will likely leave for South Africa in the next few days. It is being speculated that Patrick Twumasi will also leave for FK Spartak Jurmala.

Ghana trail Uganda's Hippos 3-1 after their game last weekend and are currently in the northern regional capital, Tamale, for preparations. They arrived on Wednesday ahead of their decisive second leg match and have been training since.

The Black Satellites' reverse clash on August 11 at the Tamale Stadium will see the winner over both legs meeting either Morocco or the Gambia.
