Ace Baffour continues goal tally

New Edubiase are surely on to something, with their lead forward, Emmanuel Baffour topping the ranks this season. He is with 18 goals and we still have have seven matches to go.
The prolific player scored his 18th goal to see his team beat Dwarfs 3-2 at the Gyemfi's Park in Bekwai on Sunday. Baffour has now equalled Prince Tagoe of Hearts as he scored 18 for Hearts before leaving for greener pastures. Charles Taylor and Dong Bortey also had 18 each in 2002, when Hearts were at their invincible best and were unbeaten all season long.
Eric Bekoe's haul (17 goals) from the 2007/8 season for Kotoko has now been broken by the Edubiase ace.
AshGold did not play on Sunday due to a postponed game, but their Yakubu Mohammed is second on the charts with 11. And then there's Louis Agyemang, Medeama's striker who blows hot and cold. He has eight goals and shares third place with Richard Addae of Bechem United.
Seven goals hath Dwarfs' Seidu Bancey. Ghana and African top scorer in this season's Champions League also has seven, with the down-the-pecking order Ahmed Toure (Ivory Coast) on six goals, same as Gilbert Fiamenyo of Heart of Lions. Hearts of Oak duo Mahatma Otoo and James Abban also have six.
