Kotoko's Konadu off to Sunderland

Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu will leave for the United Kingdom on February 4 2012 to begin a period of attachment at English Premier League outfit Sunderland.

Konadu, who has led Asante Kotoko to the summit of the Glo Premier League table after 15 match days and successfully guided the club to the MTN FA Cup Round of 32, will understudy Sunderland’s manager Martin O’Neill and his coaching staff.

The arrangement is part of a partnership agreement brokered between both clubs. Konadu will return before the second round of the Glo Premier League resumes on February 19 2012.
