Ghana PL transfer deadline wrap



The transfer deadline has ended in the Ghana Premier League leaders Asante Kotoko has completed the signings of Nania forward Prince Baffoe and five other players.

The players were officially signed before the Glo Premier League transfer deadline. Emmanuel Adu Ofei has also joined the club from Red Bull Soccer Academy, whilst former Nania FC player Alhassan Ibrahim joins Kotoko on a free transfer. Mustapha Moro, Jonas Suker and Kwakye Ampah are the others who will join league leaders Kotoko.

AshGold also completed the signings of three former Kotoko players before the transfer deadline yesterday: Samad Oppong, Michael Ofosu Appiah and Louis Quainoo.

David Telfer is back for a third time with Lawrence Lartey, ex-Nania FC captain also penning for the Obuasi side.

For Hearts of Oak, Edwin Osei Pele has joined Aduana Stars on loan till the end of the season. Pele was been deemed surplus to requirements at Hearts. But midfielder Kofi Abanga has been cleared to feature in the second half of the Ghana Premier League. Abanga has not featured for the club since he ruptured both knees in a Premier League game last season.
