Hearts constitute 11 member board



Togbui Afede XIV, an investment banker, is the new chairman of Hearts of Oak's eleven member. Long affiliated with the club, the chief now is the single majority shareholder with nearly 40 percent.

The new board which includes veterans in the club's recent administrative history including E. M. Commodore-Mensah, Alhasan Adani, Frank Nelson Nwokolo and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe. It also has the club's chief executive officer club Fred Crentsil, Apiigy Afenu and Professor Kofi Kumado as well Hon. David Lamptey, Judge Ivy Heward-Mills and Alhaji Moro Akabi.

Hearts seek to bolster their financial operations as a matter of urgency, since the clubs books have not looked healthy for some time. The entity also needs massive injection of investment for earmarked projects that have taken long to execute. The new board will expedite such actions as well as being in charge of overall activities of Ghana's oldest team.

Togbui Afede XIV is also the the chief of the Asogli state in the Volta Region.
