Pezzoni mulls overseas move
German footballer Kevin Pezzoni is considering moving abroad, German media reported on Tuesday.
Pezzoni had his contract with second division club Cologne terminated after being threatened on the internet and accosted by a group of hooligans outside his apartment.
He has since claimed that the termination was not with mutual consent.
Media reports said that English clubs Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, as well as Celtic Glasgow and Dutch club VVV Venlo were interested in signing the defender.
Pezzoni spent several years playing for Blackburn Rovers as a youth player.
His management team told dpa that they did not want to comment the speculation.
