Abu Trika hints at retirement

p>Al Ahly and Egypt ace Mohammed Abu Trika has announced that he will retire if his team Al Ahly wins the African Champions League and after playing in FIFA Club World Cup.

Al Ahly will host Cotonsport of Cameroon next Sunday in the second leg of the African Champions League Semifinal.

The African Champions League title holders ended the first leg with 1-1 draw in Cameroon.

”After the last match with Ghana , our dream to reach World Cup has become nearly impossible. So I am thinking about retiring from football. But first we have a very important match against Cotonsport . We want to win it to play in the final and win the cup.” Trika told supersport.com.

”If we win the African Champions League and play in the FIFA Club World Cup , I think it will be a good time to retire” Trika added.

Abu Trika started his career as a professional football player in 1997. He moved to Al Ahly in 2004 and is one of the most decorated and respected footballers in Africa.
