Ahmed El Shenawy skips camp

Zamalek will fine their goalie Ahmed El Shenawy after he left their camp before their match against Petrojet on day 13 of the Egyptian League supersport.com can reveal.

El Shenawy got mad after he learnt he would be benched for the match and left the camp just three hours before the game.

"The coach promised me to play this match but I still found myself on the bench" El Shenawy said.

Zamalek head coach Jorvan Vieira said after the match " El Shenawy is not a professional player. I am the coach and I am the only who say’s who will play and who will not".

Sources revealed to supersport.com that Zamalek board will fine the player.

El Shenawy joined Zamalek last summer from Al Masry for one a year loan when his club was suspended by the EFA after the Port Saied disaster.

The same sources revealed that the technical staff of the Egyptian senior team are also angry with El Shenawy and they will not call him up for the next match against Zimbabwe next month.
