Al Badry unhappy despite Super Cup win



Al Ahly head coach Hossam Al Badry hailed his players after winning the African Super Cup with their 2-1 victory against Léopards de Dolisié at Alexandria.

Al Ahly duo Mohammed Barakat and Rami Rabiea gave Al Ahly the win after they scored in the 55 and 71 minutes before Léopards’s Arouna Drame scored for his team.

Al Badry said after the match “ I am happy to win the African Super Cup after winning with African Champions League , I want to thank the players especially Mohammed Barakat and Rami Rabiea and the entire team”.

Despite his happiness at winning the cup the coach was disappointed with the teams fans. He said : “Though the Ministry of Interior allowed the fans to attend and we did not see all of them and that is sad, We need them to support us”.

Al Ahly has now lifted the African Super Cup an amazing five times coming in 2002 , 2006 , 2007 , 2009, and now 2013.
