Egypt's Afcon trophies 'safe' says EFA

The Egyptian Football Association board member Mahmoud El Shami
has assured supersport.com that the three trophies won at the African Cup of Nations are safe and sound at
the EFA headquarters.
Egyptian reports suggested that the one of EFA trophies had been
stolen and that the Police confiscated it at Cairo Airport.
El Shami said to supoersport.com that the Egyptian trophies are all at the
head quarters with the other cups.
” That is not right. All of them are at the trophy room and what the
media said is false. We now know from the Ministry of
Interior that trophy in question is a copy of the original one” he added.
