Al Badry angry in Cairo

Al Ahly head coach Hossam Al Badry revealed that he wanted to leave the team last week after the board loaned out their deadly trio.

The team loaned their trio of Mohammed Abo Trika to the UAE side Baniyas and the duo of Ahmed Fathi and Mohammed Nagy Gedo to Hull City.

” I wanted to leave the team after they departed. But I now understand its due to financial trouble. I am still with Al Ahly and I think I will stay. However I am still very sad . “ Al Badry said after their first win against Ghazl Al Mahala in the Egyptian League.

About their first match Al Badry added “ we won 1-0 that is good. We will only get better as we have not played since December. The team misses her key players, but it’s good to win the three points”.

” I am happy because the league is back again. That will be good for all our teams and National team. Last year was very tough for all the Egyptian teams , now the league has started again we have lots of work to do”.
