Three star loans leave Devils depleted

Al Ahly has loaned their deadly trio Mohammed Abo Trika to the UAE side Baniyas and the duo of Mohammed Nagy Gedo and Ahmed Fathy to Hull City of England.

Al Ahly director Sayed Abd Al Hafez confirmed this to supersport.com and said “our trio went on loan for six months and they will leave the team this week for their new clubs” Sayed said.

” Al Badry accepted to let Fathy and Gedo but initially refused Abo Trika’s offerand only after the board and the other players including Trika himself talked with him did he accept”.

An emotional Hossam Al Badry spoke after he signed contracts and said “ to lose three players like Trika , Gedo and Fathy at the same time is very hard for me but all of them wanted to go , and their new clubs paid well , so I wish them nothing but good luck for them”.

Abo Trika will now be the second Egyptian player at the UAE side with Mohammed Zidan who joined them last summer.

Same for Gedo and Fathy. They will join Ahmed Elmohammady who was loaned to the Tigers from Sunderland on Thursday.
