The UAE side Al Wasl has axed the Egyptian International player Mahmoud Abd Al Razek Shikabala .
Shikabala moved to the UAE side last summer from the Egyptian
giant Zamalek as a loan for one season.
Al Wasl announced Monday that they had ended Shikabala’s contract and
that they will sign a new player before the end of the transfer window.
Shikabala injured himself last December and that made him miss all club games for more than a month.
"I had hoped that Shikabala would stay with our team but he has a nagging injury and we are in
bad situation in our league and we need another player to improve” Al Wasl coach Gi Lacomp said.
Shikabala played 15 matches with the team during which he scored 5 goals and created 5 assists.
