Zamalek to add bite with UAE tourney



Zamalek has accepted to play in a friendly tournament in Abu Dhabi later this month before the kick off the Egyptian League supersport has been informed.

The club marketing director Khaled Refaat confirmed this to supersport.com saying that they had signed the contracts.

”We will also play two friendly matches against Shakhtar Donetsk on January 16 and against FK Zenit St. Petersburg on January 19” Khaled said.

”The sponsor will pay us well as well as the fact that they will also be tough matches before the start of the league on February 2 as well as the African Champions League. And we need these” he added.

Supersport.com has also been informed that Zamalek’s head coach Jorvan Vieira will not let his International players go for the Egypt’s friendly matches against Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire in Abu Dhabi on January 10 and 14.
