Egypt and Chile to lock horns in Spain

The Egyptian Football Association has accepted to play a friendly match next February against Chile before their World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe next March.

The Egyptian National team director Samir Adly confirmed this to supersport.com and said that the match will be in Spain.

”We had many offers from many teams but we liked Chile the best” Adly said.

“The EFA board held a meeting on Wednesday and they will sign the contracts soon and the match will be played on February 6 ” he added.

The former African Champion will play two friendly matches against Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire on January 10 and 14 in Abu Dhabi. About that Adly said :”We will start our camp on Thursday and then we will travel on January 6. We will play the first match against Ghana without Al Ahly’s International players.”
