Egyptian league gets new kick-off date

The Egyptian Sports Minister Al Amri Farouk has finally assured fans that the Egyptian Ministry of Interior has accepted to secure the Egyptian League and it will start February 1.

Farouk and EFA president Gamal Allam held a meeting with the Minister of Interior Ahmed Gamal Al Deen Saturday night.

Farouk said after the meeting “ The Ministry of Interior has accepted to secure the league and now we don’t have any more problems “ he said.

”The league will start from the eighth round and the previous rounds will be postponed” he added.

“The Ministry of Defense has also accepted to host the matches at their stadiums and all things are now ok now for the league”.

Kick-off for the Egyptian league has been delayed many times from the EFA because they failed to obtain approval from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior.
