Al Ahly to test Opoku



Al Ahly will test Ghanaian attacker Agyemang Opoku this week after recommendations from head coach Hossam Al Badry.

Supersport.com has been informed that the player will arrive in Egypt on Wednesday for the test with the Red Devils.

Al Ahly loaned their Ivorian attacker Oussou Konan to the Saudi side Hajer this week and are looking to fill one of the three spots reserved for foreign players.

Opoku who was born in1989 plays for the Bulgarian side Levski Sofia . He started his career in 2005 with Ashanti Gold and then moved to the Tunisian side Safaxien. Since then he has also played for Al Saad of Qatar as well as Al Ahly of UAE 2011 so he knows a lot about North African football.

He is also widely known in Egypt where he won with FIFA U-20 world cup in 2009 .
